Columbia Valley Wine
The Columbia Valley is a wine region of America, located in the Columbia River Plateau. Excels over other regions in Washington because it is the largest region for growing grapes, with an average of 11 million hectares for the industry.
To better understand its importance we must clarify that the Columbia Valley holds 99 percent of the total land area of the state of Washington for the grape vines planted.
Among the varieties grown have Merlot, Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. All favored by a mild climate that allows you to produce, for the most part, fruity wines.
